It is grown in the Miranda state. It is a type of regional cocoa that grows in the east of Caracas. From the Colony, its complex flavor is celebrated in which fruity and floral notes and spicy walnut predominate. Although it resembles a Trinitario, well fermented it exhibits the character of the Criollo.
It has a chocolate flavor and aroma that spreads and vigorously attacks the taster's nose. It presents some notes of fruit (peach) and some red fruits. Its intense flavor is very variable and this forces the master chocolatier to use it in an intelligent mixture.
